Kynren Joins Forces With Leading Pyrotechnic Display Team

Published : 17 May, 2019

‘Kynren – an epic tale of England’ has appointed one of UK’s leading pyrotechnic display teams as their partners for the new 2019 show, which opens on 29th June.

Performed by a 1,000-strong cast and crew on a 7.5-acre outdoor stage, complete with its own lake, the show immerses audiences in the thrilling re-telling of England’s extraordinary story, 2,000 years in the making.

Taking place every Saturday from 29th June to 14th September*, ‘Kynren – an epic tale of England’ features incredible choreography, dramatic stunts, world-class equestrianism, special effects, pyrotechnics and a menagerie of live animals.

Each show incorporates more than 600 separate pyrotechnic effects ranging from burning boats and riders on fire to the stunning fireworks finale.

Formed more than 30 years ago, Reaction Fireworks has staged thousands of national and international celebrations with audiences in the hundreds of thousands.

Every display is personally designed and created by Display Director Adam Hillary, a leading pyrotechnician with an international reputation which includes staging fireworks displays on Sydney Harbour Bridge in Australia.

“We are thrilled to be working with such a world-class show. The displays for Kynren this season will take the visitors breath away,” said Adam.

“We are also pleased that as part of our work with Kynren we have the ability to share our knowledge and skills with Kynren’s in-house pyrotechnics crew who help put on the show,” he added.

As part of the partnership Reaction Fireworks will train Kynren’s pyrotechnics team, who will come away with a City & Guilds qualification as part of their training.

Anyone interested in volunteering for this year’s show and working with Reaction Fireworks to receive a City & Guilds qualification can attend an Open Call on Monday, 20th May from 5.30pm-7pm at Kynren.
